All Providing

Today's reading: Psalm 84:1-12

God being our provider, caretaker, protector, and shield came across loud and clear from Psalm 84.

  • "Blessed are those who dwell in your house" (vs. 4).
  • "Blessed are those whose strength is in you" (vs. 5).
  • "Behold our shield, O God" (vs. 9).
  • "For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor" (vs. 11).
  • "Blessed is the one who trusts in you" (vs.12).

Do you view God as your provider? Caretaker? Protector? Shield? Think back over the past few months. What's one example where God provided something good for you? How did you respond? Did you thank God? Did you share the experience with someone else? Tami

I know the Lord is my provider, caretaker, protector and shield! Forgive me, Lord for taking all this for granted from your abundance to me!
Even in grieving,I know the Lord has supplied all of my needs and has given me comfort and peace even through my tears of loss.
It brings joy through my tears knowing the Lord does care and has helped me during this new chapter in my life. It is not easy, but it would be worse if I did not the Lord and His Word.

Yes I have thank the Lord for the assurance of salvation and the promise that He will come again and make all things new!! I have shared it with others too.
