Today's reading: Psalm 103:1-22

Throughout Psalm 103, David tells us about God having "steadfast love."

  • In verse 4, God crowns us with steadfast love.
  • In verse 8, the Lord is abounding in steadfast love.
  • Verse 11 shows us that God's steadfast love is exceedingly great.
  • In verse 17 David writes, "But the steadfast love of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him."

What does God having and showing "steadfast love" mean to you? What's one example of how you've experienced God's steadfast love? Tami

God having and showing me steadfast love gives me confidence in His faithfulness to forgive me all of my sins, assurance of the promise of eternal life forever because of His steadfast love.
He is willing to forgive my sins, and to help me through life struggles when I made a covenant with Him to let Him lead me like a loving Father Who has steadfast love!

Oh my many times,Tami! I can safely say daily He has shown me His steadfast love. My first example of how I have experience God's steadfast love was when I invited Him to my life and heart. I have never been sorry and He has NEVER disappointed me with His steadfast loving promise to accept me as one of His children.
