His Works

Today's reading: Psalm 104:1-35

I love the outdoors and pretty much anything and everything to do with nature. So reading through detail after detail about God's creation and contemplating how God so perfectly orchestrated it all, brought a smile to my face for sure. But more importantly, Psalm 104 focused my mind on God's greatness, His goodness and the exceptional love He has for His creation. As I reached the final verses of this incredibly descriptive song, I was, like the psalmist, eager to sing praises to God and proclaim His works to those around me.

When you look around at nature, how do you see God and His greatness (give one or two specific examples)? What did you notice or learn about God and/or creation from this Psalm? Tami

God's sovereignty and control over creation as expressed in verses 27-30 is wonderful to me. Not only is He the universe's Creator, He is also its Sustainer.

When I look at verse 25-30 the whole earth is dependent upon God when he opens his hand we fed but if he closes them we die and I also learned that all this beauty that we see everyday he created them for me to enjoy.
