Reconciliation Story

Today's reading: 2 Corinthians 5:16-21

Today's reading (2 Corinthians 5:16-21) is one incredible passage that conveyed to me the message that God loves us and wants us to be in relationship with Him. But the message doesn't stop there. Once we are reconciled by receiving Christ as our Savior, we are to share (be ambassadors; appeal to others) this life-saving message of love with those around us.

What did this passage reveal to you about God? What impact does knowing that God has entrusted us with spreading His message of salvation have on you? Tami

In a world of conflict, we're called to be agents of reconciliation. This also means that we're to be seeking to live in harmony with God and others, as the Spirit enables us.

Once you have accepted God as your Lord and Savior, you are a new Creature. God sent his only son to save us and we are now be his ambassadors, sent out to spread his word in an effort to reconcile the world to God. Knowing this gives pause that each time people see me it should be in the best light. They should see Christ in me. I must know the word for myself so I can show others the way.
