Boast Away!

Today's reading: 1 Corinthians 1:18-31

Paul's message in 1 Corinthians 1:18-31 wonderfully highlighted God--His wisdom, greatness, power, control of everything, and His plan of salvation. As I read my thoughts were, Oh, how incredible you are, God! How I love and need You. So I found verse 31, "Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord," quite fitting and motivating today.

Is it your practice to boast in the Lord? How can you do some boasting about God this week--at work, school, standing in line, eating at a restaurant, at home with your family, at church? Tami

verse 27 spoke to me God has chosen the foolish, God has chosen the weak. I have hope God can use me also. I must stay in his word and close to my beloved savior, Jesus Christ.

Offering Him praise for what He has done and is doing in these various settings I'd an entirely appropriate way to boast in Him.

I am learning to boast in God, as I go about my day I can speak to friends and associates of all God has done for me. This is one way to boast in God.

I am not a very verbal person so i am always looking for ways to show others Christ in me.vs 26 alone is reason to boast in the Lord.I will praise and thank God for choosing this weak ordinary being to receive the free gift of salvation through the death of His son Christ Jesus.
