1 Corinthians 7

Paul gives us some guidelines and good things to think about regarding marriage in 1 Corinthians 7:1-16. In a few short verses, he addresses marriage between believers and marriage where only one spouse is a follower of Christ, and gives us direction about staying together and keeping the marital relationship intact whenever possible.

So what does this passage show us about love and respect between spouses? What does it convey about how God values the relationship of marriage? Tami

The value of the marriage covenant is certainly highlighted here, and we see the high viewpoint God has for this institution that He created and ordained.

Marriage is a sacred union ordained by GOD and when a marriage is broken there is also a broken bond with with GOD.
