Not Mine

Philippians 4:6-7

Even though I'm not what I would call a "worrier," stress and worry still seem to have a way of crowding in on me. When I find myself in that situation, one of my favorite passages to turn to is Philippians 4:6-7. It serves as a wonderful reminder that God is in control of my life, and that whatever cares and concerns I'm struggling with aren't mine anyways. How comforting to know that God's got every detail of my life covered and I can fully trust Him no matter the situation.

So do you turn to Philippians 4: 6-7 for help when you're bombarded with worry? What encouragement did you draw from this passage today? Tami

This really hits home today for me. The peace of Christ be with you all.

When I' facing struggles with worry or anxiety, God's Word is a comfort, as it assures me that the Lord cares about what I'm concerned about, and that there's nothing He can't handle. I've also learned to identify things that trigger anxiety within me, and how to recognize when I'm simply being hyper-sensitive on a thought or issue. This is something the Lord continually helps me with.

we don't need a raggamuffin or bully approach when we need GOD's help
