Incredible Exchange

Philippians 4:6-7

Today we're taking another look at Philippians 4:6-7, but this time with a focus on verse 7. It's here where Paul tells us that when we give up our cares and worries to God, His peace will then guard our hearts and minds. Who doesn't want that? I can't fully explain this wonderful exchange of my worries for His peace, but I've most certainly experienced it over and over. Thank you, God!

So how have you experienced God's peace through prayer? Is there something you need to give over to God today? Tami

I think we all have worries and anxieties that can inhibit our relationships with others and with God. Realizing that we are worrying is often difficult. Spending time in prayer quiets our mind so we can focus on God, turn our cares and worries over to Him who is in control and in return experience His peace even though our circumstances haven't changed at all-we just know that we have a friend who will make our circumstances right.

The peace God gives is amazing. It really does transcend and go beyond our human understanding. I constantly seek His peace in my life, to guard my mind and my heart.
