Hugely Profitable!

2 Timothy 3:14-17

For me, one of the most important passages in the Bible is 2 Timothy 3:16-17. It leaves no room for doubt that the Bible is God's Word to us, and that we should be using and drawing upon His Word as we live the Christian life. "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work."

Read 2 Timothy 3:16-17 again--maybe even a couple more times. What are your thoughts on the trustworthiness of the Bible? What do these verses show you about the relevance, practicality and usefulness of the Bible for you today? What about the importance of regularly being in God's Word? Tami

I feel its very important for a us to be in Gods word daily .Its a great way to start the day and give us verses to live our lives by.God also wants us to read it so He can help us through each situation we encounter in our daily lives.

My life is so different and better when I am in God's Word daily and reflecting on what I read and applying it. Thank you Lord for that.

The Bible is the Word of God. I'm amazed at the people who can bring up a scripture that is just what we need to hear at the time. In visiting nursing homes I come in contact with Christians who may forget most every thing else but can still quote scripture. Being in God's Word daily is like being with the best teacher and friend !

Reading God's word, is like talking to Him and listen to Him. It is important that we followed his commands and live rightous. He love us first before we love Him.

God's Word has so many different functions. Teaching, correcting, rebuking,'s multifaceted in what our does for us, and because it's alive, it can do so specifically for where we're at in our walk with Christ.

the more time we spend in GOD,s word the more we become in tune to what he requires of us and it helps us to want to be more like him.
