God Loves All

Jonah 1:1-16

God's love is greater than I can comprehend and that love is displayed in a huge way through the account of Jonah. God calls Jonah to reach out to the "evil" people of Ninevah. Jonah doesn't love (or even like) the Ninevites and he doesn't want God to extend His love to this wicked city of people either. But as Jonah finds out, it's not his place to determine who deserves God's love and grace.

We all want our friends and family to know the Lord, that's a given. But what about all the other people...the not so loveable people...who live by you, work with you, sit in class with you, or who you run across at the grocery store? Today, let's take a few minutes to think about those people whom we don't "love" so much. They need God's salvation too, and God has called each of us to reach out to them. Tami

God's love IS amazing! I am in the process of hearing a young mother's testimony. I'm amazed at what she has gone through, how she ran from God, how He has redeemed her. I've also been convicted that if I had known her when she was an alcoholic, terrible mother---how would I have reacted? She is an amazing woman, a child of the King.....Help me Lord to reach out to the people we think are 'unlovable' You love them completely.
