Teach Me Please

Psalm 25

Psalm 25 is a favorite of mine. I turn to it frequently--sometimes a couple of times a week--using it as a model for my talks with God and also as a reminder that God is personal and desires to interact with and have a relationship with me. David knew this too. Did you see how he asks God a number of times to "teach" him and "lead" him?

"Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. . ." (vs.5-6).

So when was the last time you made it a point to ask God to teach you from His Word? (I'd love to hear the result.) And if it's been a while, give it try today. Tami

This is a daily occurrence for me as I come to His Word. I ask him to guide me, to show me just what he'd have me to see. Sometimes, that means I see something in a new light. Other times, I'm given a fresh, uplifting reminder of a truth already established. Either way, it's a blessing!

This was very sweet and also very important, that we keep in constant communication with our creator. My husband and my closet is a large room, so we both literally go into it at night before going to bed. One of us read from our monthly magazine, then the other one prayer, then we both go into meditation. This is when we listen to what God have to say to us. I agree with Brian, if we ask God to guide, guard, add protect us from our hearts, God will. I do not ask any more I know now that God guide, guard add protects me and mine always. It is a beautiful inner feeling.
