Genesis 1:1-27

The Search for Significance is Dr. Kroll's series this week on Back to the Bible. Now if you've ever wondered about your place in this world, your value to God, your purpose--then you'll definitely want to tune in and learn about why you and I are significant to God.

So read Genesis 1:1-27 with this in mind: How are we different than the rest of God's creation? What did this passage convey to you about who you are in God's eyes? Tami W.

Grace and Peace, until Judgment Day

This reading shows that all along God wanted us to be his children. He created us in his own image to make us part of himself just as your human child carries your DNA. The place that he put us in also shows a likeness. He gave man power over all other creation just as he has power over all.

To be formed in God's image--what a blessing, indeed.

We're the Lord's creation(s) & He sent Jesus, so we can become His children! He definitely has a plan for this world!!
