Your God

Psalm 95:1-11

There are a number of commands for us in Psalm 95, but what I saw in verses 6 and 7 really resonated with me today. Verse 6 calls us to worship and bow down to the Lord, and verse 7 gives us the why. "For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand" (vs. 7). I love this picture of our relationship with God.

So what does it mean to you that God is your God and that you are a sheep of his hand? Based on your response, how will you sing, worship and bow down to Him today? Tami W.

The picture I see here is the way a earthy father should be towards his children. Trusting, reliable, confidant, understanding, gentle, and the list can go on. If God is my God than I should and want to go Him no matter what. Weather it is with worship, confessing sin or just talking with Him and knowing that He is there. I pray that I will go to worship with confidence today and that I will serve God with my whole heart and not allow the things of this world to come between us. My problem is that sometimes I allow satan to throw thought darts and it can be distracting.

God is a caring shepherd, guiding and protecting His flock because He knows what is best for us. He cares for the flock as a whole, and for us individually as His sheep. What an awesome God we serve. Worship Him wholeheartedly this morning!

I am so thankful that God found me because I was lost. I will believe, trust and love YOU LORD JESUS CHRIST TODAY and for ALL ETERNITY!!! ALWAYS In His Grip.

If today you hear his voice harden not your hearts, stayed tuned into God and listen to him for he speaks ever so silently. Turn down the volume of the world for all you will ever need is in his hands. Today I am thankful because nothing is out of grasp when he is for us who can be against us?
