Psalm 95:1-11
There are a number of commands for us in Psalm 95. The first is for us to sing and come into the presence of the Lord with thanksgiving, and right after these, we see the reasons for doing this (the Lord is a great God, etc.). The next command I see is for us to worship and bow down to the Lord (vs. 6), and here's why. "For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand" (vs. 7). For me, this is the key verse in Psalm 95 because it gives us such an accurate picture of our relationship with God.
So what does it mean to you that God is your God and that you are a sheep of his hand? Based on your response, how will you sing, worship and bow down to Him today? Tami W.

vs 10 'knowing God's ways' Wow - does this ever take lots of Bible reading plus conversations with God. This makes me even more thankful for Back to the Bible and Poweredby4. I hope you have success with tandem also.
I definitely recognize that I am a 'sheep' who needs guidance from my heavenly shepherd. Today I am spending more time in God's Word in order to 'sing, worship, & bow.'
It gives me great comfort to know I'm in his hand. I couldn't get through each day without him. I pray that he will show me a way each day to show someone his love, and they will be able to see him through me. A lot of my days I just spend talking to God as I do my job. I spend most of my day in my pick up driving.
What a great verse to read this morning!!
Everyday I thank God for my blessings because I am truly blessed. I have been out of work, but still doing fine. My family is healthy and happy- plus we are making it financially - with some changes. Plus, for the first time I am able to stay home with my kids and be a mother and these are things to be thankful for.
However, this past week I have felt a bit of blah. When I started pondering it, I understood that I missed God. I usually start my day asking for "more of God", but these prayers have fallen to the wayside this week. I have been behind in my reading also so I was thankful that God reminded me that I was slacking off.
I think bowing down means that you keep asking to have More of God, even in the midst of your gratitude. I can be thankful everyday, but I need to take it a step further and ask for him to be standing with me. When you are in his presence, those blessings feel 10x bigger and you rejoice more loudly and share more of his gospel through everything you do.
I am so glad that God is my God and I and my family are in His hand.
I have been struggling for a long time with being astray. Today I am making more of an effort to read and pray. Another thing I am working on is spending less time doing things that are distractions from time I could be spending reading the bible or praying.
While singing for a half hour on Sunday morning is one of my least favorite activities of worship, these verses that not only should my singing extend through the week, but that it (and all of my actions) should be done in joy. Gifts and talents that I have neglected need to be given life again, and I must be willing to "take them on" with a joyful and worshipful heart.
im glad that he is my god,and am so happy to a part of the family of god.and with this i will always sing praises unto him.because if i dont then the rock will! and aint any ROCK gonna take my place for god.
I am thankful that I have a family and that they are each so wonderful. I am thankful for a really great job and fantastic people all around me, and the kids we serve each day.
