Psalm 116:1-19
I was touched by the way the psalmist simply pours out his heart to the Lord in Psalm 116. This is literally a song of love that is filled with thankfulness. All this week on Back to the Bible we've been considering living a life of thanksgiving. And, telling God how much we love Him and are thankful for all He's done for us is most definitely part of that process.
So when's the last time you poured all the love in your heart out (verbal or written) directly to the Lord? Would you take a little time today and do that (like the psalmist did here)? And, of course, I'd love to hear the outcome of your "loving" conversation with God. Tami W.
P.S. Happy Thanksgiving to all the P4ers here in the U.S! We'd love for you to share what you're thankful for on yesterday's blog post. While you're there, you can take a look at some pictures I posted.

God is always good to me and i have seen His googness in many ways. Back to the Bible is one wonderful way God has expressed His love to me by me having the opportunity to know Him better. i enjoyed listening to the radio programme every morning since i discovered backtothebible through Beleivers Broadcasting Network FM 93.0 here in Freetown, Sierra Leone.
may the good LORD Continue to bless this ministry.
i love the Lord dearly with all my heart. you know, even times when i failed Him by not obeying HIS word, He remained to be faithful to me. God is good but especially to me.
I am so thankful for a faithful God who will never leave us nor forsake us. In difficult times, He is faithful. He loves and cares for each one of us as if we were the only one. God has shown His love to me in many ways, especially the new family He has given me, the family of God.
yes! i love the Lord very dearly and thats the reason why i can cry out to him because hes been so good to me.and i thank god for the B.T.H.B. program i thank you guys for your program which has helped me very much ,by relatin to god in a more positive way!
Oh how wonderful God is. While reading this psalm again during Dr Kroll's programme on TBC Radio here in Jamaica this morning, brings home to me how marvelous and important it is to go into thanksgiving to the Lord at all times. My mom passed away 13 years ago, but I am moved ever so often to give God thanks for blessing me with a mom like her. I continue to thank Him for my family and the loving relationship we share. I know this could only be so, because of the change He has brought to our lives through His Son, Jesus Christ. My desire is to be more like Christ everyday, and I am cognizant of the fact that this can only be done through the Holy Spirit. Thanks for your grace Lord.
I am thankfull for a faithfull friend who have save me from all my sin. To know that God is always there listening to my call. Thank you God for your goodness, greatness, mercy over my life.
Cry out in Praise to the Lord regularly! It's a joy and I would miss it if I didn't. I can't imagine me not praising & thanking him for all he's done for me & my family. It't like breathing, which I give HIM praise & thanksgiving for!
I have to Love on God daily, because HE first loved me! I'm truly Grateful!
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints" I always thought that meant that those that died for Him were more precious (martyrred). But perhaps it is our death to ourselves that He finds pleasing. When we give up the things we want or think are important, when we reach out to others and forget our own agendas. When we follow Christs examples of how to live-when we quit living as the world wants us to live and live every day, every minute to honor and glorify God.
