Psalm 118:1-29
I could just feel the emotion, the excitement, the enthusiasm of the psalmist as he proclaimed God's love, goodness and greatness in Psalm 118:1-29. As I read I found myself saying a number of times, "Yes!" And nodding my head in agreement. How about you?
So what is it that you exuberantly proclaim about the Lord? Was there a particular verse or phrase that really moved your heart today from Psalm 118? Tami W.

I just pray that everyone has a good day today. God is GOOD ALL the time. Keep your eyes on God.
God Bless
Verse 13 "I was pushed hard, so that I was falling,
but the Lord helped me."
Psalm 118, what a great psalm to start out my day! Thank you, Tami.
So many reasons to praise God.
Verse 13 stood out today. I found comfort in the fact that I am not the only one to be pushed down by a bully (metaphorically). David was. Jesus was -- literally and spiritually.
"But the Lord helped me."
I don't need to feel sorry for myself. I do need to remember that I am in good company! I have the privilege of fellowshiping in his sufferings. I can relate to Jesus better when I understand a tiny fraction of what he went through. He can comfort me.
Just focus on the Lord. He will always help me.
I am thinking this morning about how God has shown His steadfast love to me through dear friends, through people I never expected to care, and even through people I don't always like.
His steadfast love endures forever.
I liked v17. I shall not die, but I shall live, and recount the deeds of the Lord. Particularly: "recount the deeds of the LORD!" Talk about a way of getting of self/flesh. Man-o-man. Have a marvelously blessed day everybody. Tell somebody that you love them and there is nothing they can do about it! I love you :-)
HI TAMI
IT IS SO MUCH EASIER TO GIVE THANKS AND PRAISE TO THE LORD WHEN THINGS ARE SEEMINGLY GOING IN OUR FAVOR. DURING THE CHALLENGES IT IS MUCH MORE DIFFICULT AS WE GET CAUGHT UP IN THE PROBLEMS.
I GUESS THAT WE NEED TO REMEMBER THAT GOD WANTS THE BEST FOR US AND SINCE HE CAN SEE THE END FROM THE BEGINNING WE NEED TO REMEMBER THIS AND KNOW THAT THE CHALLENGES THAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH ARE ALLOWED BY GOD BECAUSE THESE ARE THE BEST ROUTES TO ACCOMPLISH GOD'S DIVINE ETERNAL PLAN FOR ALL HIS CHILDREN IN JESUS THE CHRIST.
SO, LET US ASK FOR THE FILLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO ALLOW US TO PRAISE GOD AT ALL TIMES AS WE CANNOT SEE THE END FROM THE BEGINNING BUT WE NEED TO BE CONFIDENT IN GOD'S LOVE FOR US. WE CANNOT ACHIEVE THIS IN OUR OWN STRENGTH.
REGARDS IN CHRIST
CECIL
God is good. One thing that stands out so clearly to me is the phrase: "his mercy endureth forever". He is merciful and kind, inspite of our shortcomings. Verses 8 & 9 ministered to me: "It is better to trust in the LORD than to trust in man or in princes". I have experienced this in such painful ways. I plan to go over this psalm again.
