Ephesians 3:14-21
Earlier this week on Tuesday, my blog talked about spiritual prayers for our Christian friends. Well, if we're not quite sure how to go about doing that, Ephesians 3:14-21 will help. It's here that Paul prays a complete prayer all about spiritual matters for the Ephesians.
So what does this passage show you about praying for spiritual growth and strength? How important do you think praying for spiritual things is based on what you've seen from Paul so far in Ephesians? Tami W.

not only does this scripture touchon the point of inner strenghth it also talks about what God can do in our lives which is beyond our own imagination in this scripture i really like the point which paul brings out that i pray for the strengthning oyf your of which i think thats important in a christians life if you strong in the inside that means you are able to face any situation in your life but again for you to be strong in the inside you have to look to God because when you look to yourself you know you are not strong enough it also assures us to look unto God for guidance and assitance for he is capable of doing so much more than what we ourselves can do for ourselves its just up to leave our cares in his hands and he will totally amaze becoz he can take a great mess and turn it into complete greatness
Since this is Paul’s second prayer on this matter in his letter to the Ephesians I think that it is safe to say that Paul feels very strongly about spiritual growth.
I really love this prayer. I know that I had a very had time understanding God’s love. I did not grow up in a home filled with love, but one that was filled with hate, pain, and anger. And I had to pray this prayer for myself. I know that I am not the only one that has to over come this. I am still amazed that God does love me and He always has. I am now rooted and established in love. And that love has revealed itself to me by giving me a love for others that I never had before and a peace that took over my troubled heart. I like to refer to it as the percolator feeling—it just bubbles up inside of me and flows over the top.
I want everyone to feel loved. I think that deep inside of us we crave for a love that accepts us for who we are and what we are at this time. Not for what we have done or what we will do. And when we don’t fill that emptiness in us with God’s love. We look for it in drugs or alcohol or food or people. And sometimes that search leads us to death before we discover the Truth and the Light that we really need.
I want everyone to know the truth and to feel this love that God has for all of us.
Our spiritual growth is so important. I just pray God will open our eyes to see. We, that know we ought to be growing spiritually should go and share with others. You will have seed that may fall on hard soil, but I encourage you to continue on and keep sharing with others:):) Do not let the negative responses pull you away from the very thing God wants you to do. Hebrews 10:35-36 So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that He has promised.
This scripture is one that is very familiar. It is quoted and used in a variety of ways. But the thought that crosses my mind from a devotional I read earlier this month asks the question, "How big is your God?" I'm trying for God to be bigger in my life...bigger than I ever thought that he could be. God is able to do immeasureably more than I can think or ask and yet, we need to ask. Blessings to all!
