Ephesians 2:1-10

Definitely a well-known passage today with Ephesians 2:1-10. So I read these verses four or five times considering what God would have me take away and put into action. Each time I read the passage, certain descriptions and phrases about God and salvation gave me pause and got me thinking about just how amazing God is and how incredibly blessed I am (we are) to be part of His family. Here they are: "rich in mercy" (vs. 4), "great love" (vs. 5), "immeasurable riches of his grace" (vs. 7) and "gift of God" (vs. 8).

What from Ephesians 2:1-10 spoke to you today? What did you do or will you do as a result? Tami W.

The most powerful word in the Bible is the word BUT! It is through that small word that God invades my world that was full death and darkness and invades it with His transformative love, grace and mercy!

Have a experienced His grace and mercy?

There are so many examples of Him showering me with His love!

To begin with, I was saved out the darkness of alcoholism and homelessness. I started drink at the age of 14,
leaving home, became homeless, heard the gospel in homeless shelters and the Lord blessed me with saving faith.

I was in treatment for alcoholism in a Salvation Army treatment centre, was in a bible Study and met my future wife! I have survived 2 rounds of cancer. This past year, my wife was called home to Heaven after a courageous battle with cancer. In the past year the Lord has graced me with a godly woman in my life. So, the Lord cannot help but shower me with His grace and love. I never take His grace and mercy for granted.

In Christ,

Chris D.

the amazing thing about this scripture is that it tells us more about Gods amazing character that he loves us beyond any measure it also show us as christians that if we depend on Christ for everything we can endure anything God plan for our lives is like a movie all the good and the bad things are arranged together for the good ending
