A Necessary Part

Ephesians 4:1-3

Paul talks in Ephesians 4 about the Body of Christ and how each of us has a unique calling and role to play in that Body as a follower of Christ. He urges and challenges us right up front to live in a manner "worthy of the calling to which you have been called" (vs. 1).

So what role are you fulfilling in the Body of Christ? How can we make sure we're giving our best effort to that role? If you're not actively functioning as part of the Body, what can you do to change that going forward? Tami W.

If you've ever wondered about the specific role God has for you in the Body of Christ, it may be helpful to take a spiritual gifts inventory. These can be really helpful in finding out how God has uniquely gifted you to serve. Below you'll find several free spiritual gift assessments to get you started.

Thank you Powered by 4 for the daily scripture passages. I realized this morning how I have made it a daily ritual to come into my home office and open up the reading. When I clicked on this morning, my Internet connection was down!! Instead of just walking away as I might have done I contacted my provider immediately and now I am up and running again.
In answer to the question about what we struggle with most - I doubt very much if I could be described as humble!!
If anyone else reads this, I would ask you please to pray for our youngest daughter who is not living the life of a Christian. I know how powerful prayer can be and we have been praying for a miracle to bring her back to the family of Christ. Thank you and may His peace be in your hearts and homes always.

patience and politeness is not a persons weakeness its a reflection of a persons strength and it shows me that i should exercise love in my day to day life it show that in lyf i should not strive to make my presence noticed but just to make my abscence felt and to live my life to express kindnes and humility and not to impress

There is a term that I've come across that seems to apply here. It is intentionality. If we can remember to put Christ first instead of plodding along in the fog, we are on a better track.

Well said madondo. That is how we should all learn to live. Goes totally against the world "look at me" attitude. We can turn more people to Christ by what you stated.

K.S.,

Thanks for sharing your prayer request with us. We'd be glad to pray for your daughter. Also, it's exciting to hear that P4 is a regular part of your morning routine! Tami W.
