Psalm 109:1-31
You know how we always hear how when we pray we should just talk to God? Well that's true, but if that's not how you were raised or you're not entirely comfortable or accustomed with that idea yet, then this is a great psalm to read because David is really talking to God. And once he starts talking, he lets go. He doesn't hold anything back. He tells God everything.
Talk about a picture of pouring out your heart to God. And did you notice how as David gives over his burdens, fears and concerns to God that his attitude and demeanor change? What began as a desperate crying out for help ends with a bold recognition of God's love, protection and sovereignty.
So what did you learn from Psalm 109? How can you draw on and use this passage in your relationship and communication with God? Tami W.

I am going to discipline myself to remember that no matter the ammount of those opressing me that as it is said in Psalm 109:31 when David acknowledges how great God is" For he stnads at the right hand of the neddyone, to save the life from those who condemn him"
I learned how to be very open to God, letting out all the thoughts in my heart and mind.God understands the simplest details in our lives. The Lord will really help us when we cry out to Him, surrendering our will to Him.Even if we want to do something about it,letting ourselves fix things we need to hold on to Him,trusting He can handle it! I like what David said in verse 21...the on my BEHALF,for Your NAME'S sake..where he admits God can stand for him, where he can run for refuge..
like in the time of david so to it is now .People always saying things about you that may not be true but at but, david did not go and curse or disrespect any one he left it up to god to deal with the situation.I would talk to god as i would speak to a friend you find a lot of peace after
