Romans 8:1-17
Romans 8 starts with this bold promise and declaration: "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death." Then, Paul goes on and really explains the freedom that being a Christ-follower brings us by comparing and contrasting living in the flesh and living or walking in the Spirit.
So what did Acts 8:1-17 show you about living in the Spirit? What does being set free in Christ Jesus mean to you? Tami W.

Funny, Rom 8:1-17 is my required reading for my men's group.
This is related to a sermon based on Eph 2:13-14 in which have a pledge from God that He will seal us with an inheritance in Christ Jesus when we are saved by placing our faith in Him.
Satan attempts to attack our faith in God by telling us lies about our relationship with Him, that He is not controlling and watching over every detail of our lives, or that God will condemn us when we sin.
As Romans 8:1-2 states "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death."
Once we submit our lives to God by placing our faith in Jesus we will we receive the spirit of sonship in which we cry, Abba Father!
Nothing can take that relationship with our heavenly Father away from us.
