Matthew 9:27-38
I write/talk a lot about our need to share the Gospel, and that's ultimately where Matthew 9:27-38 ends, with Jesus telling the disciples that the harvest (people who don't yet know Christ as Savior) is plentiful, but the laborers (Christ-followers spreading the Gospel) are few. As much as I don't like it, it's still that way today.
So, fellow laborers, what does Matthew 9:27-38 (Jesus' miracles and his discussion with the disciples) show us about the world, how we treat others and our attitude about eternity? How can we use what we see in this passage to help us witness to others? Tami W.

I agree that the needs around us today are as much as when Jesus walked the earth.
I see the importance of prayer in evangelism because it is Gods church and if we witness to lost people I think he wants us to be dependant on him for direction and compassion for lost folk so we know his spirit is working and the Lord will get the glory when the good news is shared .
I am currently studying with my prayer group a book about God's global desire for all of the world to be saved. Never before have I been as convinced that God gave Jesus for the whole world. No longer will I see evangelism in the same way. The whole world is our assignment. Not just our country and our allies. Pray for the world to come to a saving knowledge of our Lord. Radio and television are in place to reach them, our prayers will open their minds and hearts.
