Psalm 105:1-25
Recognize God for Who He is and then tell others--that's the message that hit me as I began reading Psalm 105. This chapter starts with thanks, but then instructs us, almost immediately, to "make known his deeds among the peoples" and to "tell of all his wondrous deeds" (vs.1-2).
Now before I can tell others about what God has done, I have to remember and recall them myself. What a good exercise to get our focus on God and to energize and encourage us on a personal level. And this remembering exercise will hopefully encourage us to tell others as well. (And here's the cool thing, when we share our experiences of how God has done wonderful things in our lives, we're witnessing!)
So take a few minutes and write down some of the wondrous deeds and works the Lord has done for you over the years. Read it over, maybe even read it out loud to yourself, and remember. Then, thank the Lord, and as you go about your day look for opportunities to tell others about God and His goodness to you. Tami W.
P.S. The P4 blog could be your first opportunity to tell others. I put a couple of things from my list below to get us started.
--Allowing me to lose a job which was unsettling and scary, but ultimately moved me to a better job and caused me to grow like crazy spiritually.
--Sustaining my husband (and me as his supporter) through some significant health problems the last 7 years.
--Guiding and strengthening us through a long period of trying to sell our house.

God did a wonderful work in my family which is totally awesome. My son came back to God after 6+ years in the gay life-style. He now works for a ministry helping others who want to be healed.
He is married to an amazing Christian lady, who also found Christ after many years of living in a lesbian relationship. Although they were past 40, God has blessed them with a beautiful daughter.
They are being used mightily in ministering to other same-gender attracted people who seek freedom.
I am thankful for God moving me to tears at the moment I realized He was with me and I was not alone
The Lord has done remarkable things in my life! He made Himself known to me when at the age of 10, while camping a tornado passed through our site. I prayed that He would protect us and the Tornado did not touch us! He has continued to reveal Himself to me in fantastic ways. I tumour, sent from Satan to cause me harm and end my ministry, resulted in a deeper faith and a better ministry! A fall down a flight of stairs which left me disabled has also shown me how God is active in my life. God is good there is no doubt! My life may not be what I had planned (disability) but God is taking my disability and using it for His glory! Praise God for His ways for they are better than my own.
I thank God for my life, my family, health and grandkids. Getting married to a young man, my husband, of 39 years now. Graduating and 2 years later a boy, then 3 girls and they all went to school. At 17 years old how would I know he was the man for me and I didn't know anything about raising kids. Got a job at 20 years old that paid good and had great benefits work myself up without any college. The husband, family, job now that I look back it was all God there is now way that it was me. He has been there all my life and I just found it out about 3 yrs ago. Thank God for everything in my life. Now my son and 1 daughter also now God. I am praying for my 2 girls that they find him also. AMEN
Wow, you all have such wonderful testimonies. This encourages me to give a testimony every time i get the chance because God has done so much for me ....... i mean i personally think I have a lot to thank God for. God has drastically turned my life around as of early last year. I had accepted Jesus Christ as my lord and Saviour ten years ago and i knew that something wasn't quite right with me but i never really knew what it was. However, thought those ten years as i pursued to get closer to God and as my relationship with him increased, God allowed the enemy to have some major disturbances happen in my life in terms of socialization, personality, my health, there is just so much that happened that i dont think i can recall all of them. Anyhow, as i went year after year going deeper and deeper in my repetitive confusion and sin there was one major thing that God allowed to change my life completely and I am very fortunate today that i have life and that i am serving God. I must say God still has a lot of work to do on me but he has brought from a lot so far. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT ...........HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR GOD I WOULD NOT BE HERE TODAY! PRAISE JESUS, THANK YOU GOD, HALLELUJAH! I hope this blesses all of you. BE ENCOURAGED IN KNOWING THAT NO MATTER HOW DEEP YOU ARE WADDLING IN YOUR SIN AND HOW FAR YOU'VE GONE.......GOD CAN DELIVER YOU AND SET YOU FREE AND MAKE YOUR LIFE BRAND NEW AGAIN! It happened to me and i believe it can also happen for you!
