Exalt & Worship!

Psalm 99:1-9

Three times in the nine short verses of Psalm 99 we're told that God is holy, and accompanying this declaration is the command to praise His name, (vs. 3), exalt the Lord and worship at his footstool (vs. 5) and to exalt the Lord and worship at his holy mountain (vs. 9). Pretty clear message.

So what are you going to do with the recurring instruction to both exalt the Lord and to worship Him? How will you put this into practice this weekend? Tami W.

I will be traveling today, but this weekend I will be worshipping with my daughter and her families churd in Richmond, VA. When I think of OT worshipping, I think of how many fell to the ground because of how holy they believed God was. Wow! In private I have worshipped this way and it is a magnificate experince. I should worship more like this. I do enjoy worhipping through music. It's like reaching up to God as He is reaching down to me.

This morning I gave God thanks and praise in worship. I do this every morning even when I go to church. Before I go to bed I give Him thanks and praise for His grace and His love and the blessings of the day. i praise His name and praise Him for who He is our Creator and Heavenly Father. I do not allow anyone or anything to keep me away from my God and His Word daily because it is He who gets me through each day and night.

I will put this in pratice this weekend by keeping a heart of thanks giving & spirit of praise regardless what trails may come my way, continue to pray my strength in the lord while i do the same for all of you.

I will give my Lord my thanks for what he does daily for me and my family. I talk to God throughout the day giving him thanks and asking him to help me have faith and to surrender myself to him. I can't do anything without him.

Iam so thankful to get off work and that there is an option- either 7A or 10:00 am service. So I am GOOD and READY to WORSHIP GOD and do what He would have me do in my chosen profession as a nurse. It's a BLESSING to be able to WORSHIP and SERVE God and to even be CALLED to SERVE.
