Psalm 93:1-5
These words of Psalm 93:5 hit me front and center today. "Your decrees are very trustworthy." They summed up what I was already thinking which was...if the world is established and shall never be moved, and the Lord's throne is established from of old and He is from everlasting...then how could I not trust Him fully with the details of my life? Now I was thinking this because I am a control freak and it is a struggle for me to let go and turn things over--completely--to God. This is foolish behavior on my part and I know that, so being reminded of the Lord's trustworthiness, His sovereignty and control, were just what I needed today.

This Psalm reminded me that God is mightier and stronger than any circumstances I face from day to day. I can use it in my life this week as His promise to me that He is trustworthy and He will give me the strength I need to get through each day. Thank you, Lord, Amen.
May I be hit front and center everyday! Yes God is faithful in answering prayer and showing His Ppower and might through others testimony and witness to me. I love Christians who are boldly proclaiming the WORD. Thank you!
This Psalm helps me to bring everything going on back to the Creator. Sometimes due to life's trials mostly of (our own doing before I knew the Lord), fear creeps in and I am crying out to God asking that He not allow my foot to slip at all this week. For though I can be moved God can never be moved. This I am learning that He is my security. Praise His Holy Name!!! For God's character shows us that how reliable and stable He is and that without Him in my life I cannot be good I cannot be Holy. Only through His Son Jesus am I able to do these things.

I UNDERSTAND YOUR CHALLENGE. WE TEND TO BE THE SUM TOTAL OF OUR EXPERIENCE. SO MANY TIMES WE HAVE LEFT THINGS (DELEGATED)TO OTHERS AND THEY HAVE LET US DOWN. AS A RESULT ONCE WE ARE RESPONSIBLE WE STRIVE FOR CONTROLLING EVERYTHING (SOMETIMES OVER CONTROL).
THIS SCRIPTURE IS TIMELY IN REMINDING US AT THE START OF THE NEW YEAR THAT GOD IS GOD AND NOT OTHER PEOPLE SO, WHILE WE STRIVE TO LEAVE THINGS IN HIS HANDS (CONTROL) BASED ON OUR EXPERIENCE WITH FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS WE ALSO HAVE TO PRAY FOR DIVINE ASSISTANCE FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT TO LET US KNOW WHEN WE ARE NOT LETTING GO ENOUGH.
