Forever Hope

Titus 1:1-3

Did you notice our reading today, Titus 1:1-3, isn't even a full sentence? No worries because this partial sentence is full of good news and encouragement. We're looking at the opening of Paul's letter to Titus. Right up front Paul tells us that as followers of Christ, we have hope of eternal life in the present, and we know this because God has given us this promise.

So what can and should we be doing with this incredible promise? How can we use these verses to encourage ourselves and others today? Tami W.

Like Cecil said I wouldn't want anyone to suffer judgement. We are Jesus' slave. Not by might not by power but by HIS Spirit! I need to be very careful how I teach someone. This is not an easy believism..When we give ourselves to Christ there will be battles with Satan every minute. It's not be easy, but in Christ we have the Joy of the Lord for our strength. I must pray in HIS Spirit at all times with all kinds of prayers an requests. Allowing Him to work in me is the only way anything gets done rightly/correctly! Believe me!!!!

What an incredible privilege it is to realize that, like Paul, each believer has been entrusted with the responsibility to tell others of the eternal life which our great God has promised. We all like to be the bearers of good news....well, here's our opportunity!!

I agree with Eric ,we were entrusted with the responsibility to spread hisword and promise of eternal life . We MUST do his will or it is all for nothing.
