Psalm 18:1-50
Psalm 18 is just packed full. Full of details, information and events, full of encouragement, full of examples, full of instruction...you get the picture. I think I could spend days just considering all that's there.
So I'm curious. What did you learn about God from Psalm 80? What about our Christian walk and relationship with Him? Tami W.

Wow! This psalm is packed full of information and importance regarding our God! He is our rock and our refuge. He is our shield and defense. He comes to our defense when we call out to Him. He prepares us for the task ahead. Does anyone recognize the praise song that comes from the beginning and end of this psalm??
I LOVE THIS PSALM ....
HE HEARS
HE HAS COMPASSION
HE ACTS
HE IS IN CHARGE
HE FIGHTS OUR BATTLES
HE IS OUR STRENGTH
HE IS OUR SHEILD
HE IS INVOLVED IN THE DETAILS OF THIS LIFE
HE WORKS THING TOGETHER FOR GOOD
HE DOES MORE THEN WE EVER COULD IMAGINE
WOW!!THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVING KINDNESS!!!
HE is ALL!
I can't help but say this, because I could not help being reminded of this: HE IS: Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End!
HE is our Lord and Saviour, often times, our family, our very best and most special Friend, our Protector, our Supplier, our Teacher, and so much more!
He has been all these things and more to me since I was 5 years old. The thing is....HE is ALL....HE is EVERYTHING that we will allow Him to be to us! Whatever we need, HE IS THAT!!!
Blessings to all on the P4 board.
This Psalm tells us of God's greatness. It tells how powerful He is not just today but everyday. It tells us there is no one like Him. He is our Mentor, our Best Friend. He is everything to us. It tells us that if we trust Him and call upon Him we have nothing to fear. It tells me that He is so awesome that all praise and thanks must go to Him. It tells me of His unfathomable love. It tells me that I should put my trust in Him and He will guide, protect and provide for me always. There are not enough words to describe our God who is ever faithful and never changes. Thank You Lord for loving me so much.
Great comments everyone. I enjoyed reading them. Our God is mighty and powerful. He will move mountains for us. I'm glad I'm on His team.
While this Psalm is a testament of God's power, mercy and justice, I cannot ignore David's role in receiving God's favor. David states that he is rescued because God delighted in him. The Lord dealt with him because of his righteousness and obedience. It is an excellent reminder that God does miraculous things in our lives, but that we bear responsibility too. I'm just so relieved that I too can be considered righteous, simply because of my faith in His Son.
