A Wealth of Information

Psalm 78:40-72

Psalm 78 is rich with information about God. And it's all right there for us to take in. Did you notice how almost every verse in Psalm 78:40-72 talked about and showed us God's actions, emotions and power? There was so much there I ended up going back and looking at this passage a number of times.

What do these verses tell us about God's heart for us? His faithfulness? How about the things that we do that break His heart?

Father forgive me for the times I have ignored and even dared to reject Your Way. Please allow me the humility and love You give to all who believe. Help me to live for You and through You.I praies you tha we live in the age of Grace and Your mercy is new every morning.

God IS faithful, Tami! He keepr His words, both those "good words" our ears like to hear, AND those stern promises we want to believe He will not keep. From the Scriptures, it is clear Israel WAS AND IS God's heart. Most any one of us would give our heart's deepest place for those we love. God has ALWAYS gone to the uttermost to bless those who are faithful and obedient to Him AND has settled the score with anyone who would harm His own. How He loves His Israel, but, oh, how He must love Christ's church, the betrothed! How much more ought we give Him that deepest place within the heart and ought we be happy to live in continual remembrance of His love for us and what He has done for us...and, need I say, what He, YET, wants to do for us? Oh, that we might daily open the door and let Him in as He knocks! We ought to be watching from our heart's window and THROW OPEN THE DOOR before He ever touches that nail-scarred hand to it!

God loves us so much. After all He created us in His Own image but man messed up, but even though we messed up He still loves us and will not allow anyone to pluck us from His hand. God is ever faithful. He is the same yesterday, today and will be the same tomorrow. Heaven and earth will pass away but not His Word. That is here for ever. We are the unfaithful ones and we must learn from Jesus faithfulness. While He was here on earth as man, He was always faithful and obedient to His Father and faithful also to us.

So let us do our very best to be obedient and walk in His way. Let us remember what our Christ did for us on the cross; He shed His blood and died to take away all our sin and iniquities forever. But we must believe in Him so we can have eternal life.

Lord Jesus thank You and we praise Your name for the unfathomable love You have for us by giving up your life not just for one person but for us all. We have not loved and obeyed You as we ought and we pray that this day You will guide, lead, protect and be with us in all our plans and what we do and say. Thank You Lord Jesus and we love You. Amen

HI TAMI

Psalm 78:40-72 SHOWS US HOW MUCH LOVE GOD HAS IN HIS HEART FOR US. WHEN WE LOVE OTHERS, ARE KIND TO THEM AND THEY REPAY US BY UNGRATEFULNESS WE ARE VERY ANGRY, DISAPPOINTED AND WILL OFTENTIMES REFRAIN FROM SPEAKING TO THESE INDIVIDUALS OR OFFERING FURTHER KINDNESS SOMETIMES FOR THE REST OF OUR NATURAL LIVES.

WE ARE TRULY MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD AND HE UNDERSTANDS THIS THEREFORE HE HAS TOLD US "BE ANGRY (AS HE GETS ANGRY) BUT SIN NOT Ephesians 4:26
WE ALSO HAVE ALL THE EMOTIONS OF GOD BUT OFTENTIMES WE ALLOW OUR EMOTIONS TO TOTALLY CONTROL US AND MAKE US SIN FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES AND THIS IS WHY JESUS THE CHRIST OFFERED US A WAY OUT OF SIN AND GOD THE FATHER GAVE US THE HOLY SPIRIT TO HELP US CONTROL OUR SINFUL EMOTIONS ONCE WE HAVE ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST AS LORD AND SAVIOR. THIS FACT DEMONSTRATES NOT ONLY GOD'S LOVE BUT HIS FAITHFULNESS TO US.

GOD IS ETERNAL AND WE AT PRESENT LAST THREE SCORES AND TEN. CAN WE IMAGINE IF GOD'S ANGER WAS ETERNAL?

SIN BREAKS GOD'S HEART BUT ONCE WE ACCEPT JESUS THE CHRIST THE HOLY SPIRIT DWELLS IN US AND WILL CONVICT US WHEN WE DO SIN SO THAT WE CAN GENUINELY REPENT THROUGH JESUS CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTHS AND ASK GOD FOR FORGIVENESS. THIS I BELIEVE HEALS HIS BROKEN HEART INSTANTLY.

REGARDS IN CHRIST

CECIL

God showed great love to His people as He delivered them from Egypt. He was faithful to deliver them. But they complained and He turned HIS face from those who rebelled. We need to continue to trust Christ and to be faithful to His word. To recieve His blessings not curses.

At 1st they never remembered God delivered them out of Eygypt, they were whining & complaining, instead of praising & thanking God!Like they should've been doing! So they made the lord angry with their lack of faith! We can take a lesson + not do what they did!If you think we can't thank & praise God,then look at 3rd world countries! We STILL LIVE IN THEE BEST COUNTRY OUTSIDE ISREAL ON EARTH in my opinion anyway!

Tami, you are anointed and I pray that the anointing will not cease from you. Indeed the love of our God for us is infinite and ever new. He shows His anger but at the same time demonstrates the forgiveness He has thought us hence every word and doctrine that He has thought us He has shown us examples of how to use them. His love never fades even when we fail. He is an amazing and awesome God. Praise be to His loving name.
