Revelation 17:1-18
If you felt a little overwhelmed with all the symbolism, imagery and details as you read Revelation 17 today, let me assure you, you are not alone. There is just a lot going on and many things packed into this chapter. So rather than try to work through what's taking place and all the goings on and meanings, I suggest listening to Dr. Kroll's in-depth teaching on Back to the Bible today. I'm confident there will be much to take away from the program.
One thing we see again here in Revelation 17 is Satan's determination to rebel against and overthrow God. And, once again, we see that that is never going to happen. Did you notice verse 14? "They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is the Lord of lords, and King of kings, and those with him are called, chosen and faithful."
So what does knowing that Jesus is the Lord of lords and King of kings mean for you today? Tami W.
P.S. I really meant it when I said you should listen to Dr. Kroll today. The program is called Ecclesiastical Babylon. Check it out here.

I'm so glad TIME is in GOD'S Hands..He knows the time that is and is not and was and will yet be. Oh what a Mighty God we serve. I pray for the lost. That is the most important thing I can do. That we pray for those who could be saved from this future horror that is certain for those who do not believe or repent. Jesus help me be faithful and put YOU first.
Tami it means everything to me that Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of kings. I know through God's Word that He is our Saviour who comae down from heaven to this earth and died so our sins were nailed to the cross and that through Him those of us who truly believe will have life eternal. Dr. Kroll has put it quite aptly,"We must present Jesus not as the best hope for this world but the ONLY (my emphasis caps) hope for this world."
We just have to see if by our words and our actions , others would want a taste of Him and draw closer to Him by reading and studying His Word for themselves.
The ultimate satisfaction of purpose is Jesus, for me. May this be truer and truer as I strive for this ultimate Truth. Galatians 2:20
Jesus IS the Way, the Truth, and the Life! AND...I'm gonna say it, there is NO OTHER NAME GIVEN whereby we may be saved.
I know we are living in a time, RIGHT NOW, where we are hearing about "other ways to God" and that everyone is "praying to the same god (little "g"). That is simply is untrue. Not everyone is praying to the GOD of the Bible, and not everyone knows and is serving the JESUS of the Bible. Not everyone who preaches is preaching the Gospel of the Bible.
We are hearing of this "wider mercy" that, reportedly, can save without a heart, life or soul being brought to the foot of the cross of Jesus Christ. We are hearing that souls may be saved simply because people are good, and might be following Jesus' teachings without even knowing they are doing so, and without receiving Jesus or knowing Him.
Dear ones, we must remain faithful to "THE FAITH" once delivered to the saints, and we must adhere to what the Word of God teaches. For me, I know (and I am already seeing) this will NOT bring popularity.
Tami, Jesus IS so very truly KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS, and we must never cease to be thankful and to praise Him for what He has done for His children and for what HE IS STILL WILLING TO DO for those who will receive His gift of eternal life. But, may we never shrink back from telling everyone, when the opportunity arises, that to receive the Gift they MUST receive the Giver, who is Jesus Christ. HE IS BOTH THE GIVER AND THE GIFT!
Blessings to all on P4, and have a wonderful weekend. (Susie will probably be very quiet next week, as there is much studying I want to do and so many prayers I need to pray.
We have hope. We're on the winning team. We relax, stay close to Jesus and we win.
