There is no other

Deuteronomy 4:32-40

Deuteronomy 4:39 says, "Know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other."

This verse really drives home how awesome God is and instructs us to acknowledge him.

So how are you going to do that today? What do you do to give recognition and honor to God both privately and publicly? How about adding to that list today? Tami W.

With my daughter's immune deficiency I praise God every day. The days she picks up little colds, I praise Him because I know she is in His hands and is healing her. The days she is well I praise Him because I know He is protecting Her. Through His wonderful grace she has more well days than sick, and because of that I always share that news with everyone who asks. It is through our weakness that we realize how great God is. Only God has the power to heal and keep us well.

Start the day in prayer and ask him for strength to endure any obsticles that come your way gracously and be full of compasion. To be a living example for Christ our Lord. It draws people to you and they will ask how you do it and that opens the door to talk about our Hevenly Farther can do for them. We have to stay intune and that takes discipline on our part by staying in the word and allowing the holy spirt to overflow within us. We just have to allow ourselves to be vessels for God.

Thank you for P4 and the fellowship that it brings. We lift each other up and we rejoce in his Word. Truely this is a wonderful site for learning and encouragement.

Well, God had me click on comments this morning... Julie, I will pray for you and your daughter everyday - it takes strength to say what you did, and that only comes for the indwelling of Jesus within you. And, Wanda, "strength to endure any obsticles that come your way graciously and be full of compassion." Wow - that was convicting! How can they know I am His if I am in a frenzy? Thank you both for sharing... it helped others, just as God wanted.

I truly accept the awesomeness of the Lord, his powerful spirit and his unending love. What I don't do is spread this message more often. I can speak freely of God within the confines of a bible study or amongst a few close friends, but when it comes to voicing His love for me..and mine for Him.. to those who are still seeking I become more reticent. Today I will try to find more days to draw others to Him by being more charitable and accepting, by more thoughtful prayer and by being more open with others about my faith.

I just want to say Thank You for opening my heart to the fact that I need to me more thankful and open regarding all that I have been blessed with. Praise Jesus for you all!

Everyday I before I get out of bed, I thank God for the day. I know that it is for Him that I am here another day. I sing songs that praise God and I don't care who hears me. I talk to everyone I meet about Our Lord and Savior. I read His word each day. I am focused on God and when I get stressed or uneasy, I pray! If I am able I help others in their need. And when all else fails, I pray for those that when I am not sure of their needs.

Julie - I will add your family to my prayer list. Your strength comes from Our Lord and Savior.

Marge - Remember the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) it is our responsibility to spread the Gospel and don't be concerned about what or how to talk about Our Lord, turn to John 14:26 - The Helper, the Holy Spirit will teach you what to say.
