Daniel 6:1-28
Daniel found himself in quite a predicament because he continued to worship and serve God. Bottom line, he was set up and even though Daniel was the king's favorite, he was sentenced to face the lions. Even so, we never see Daniel flinch or falter. And this didn't go unnoticed by King Darius. He calls out saying "Daniel, servant of the living God..." Then, after Daniel survives the night with not even a scratch, Darius again recognizes that the God of Daniel is the living God.
We serve that same living God. So what are you doing in your daily life to show that to others? Think about what your actions communicate. What are doing at work? At home? As you run errands? What is it about you that tells others you serve the living God? Tami W.

You have to start your day right by praying, meditate on his Word. You need to end the day in praises and prayer and devotion to the Our Lord. I have noticed that by doing this and working with the P4 program has kept me more in his light which radiates thruought the day. We need to keep him first in our daily life just like Daniiel did.
"When being faithful seems to make life hardter, what do you do?" You dig your heels in!
I agree with Mary and I also ask God to give me His perspective about the situation when I feel unclear or that I am leaning to much to my own understanding.
In my daily life, I try to treat others how I want to be treated. I allow the Holy Spirit to guide my actions. When I find myself getting frustrated, I pray for strength. I don't want to treat people in a manner that I have to apologize later for my actions. If I am kind and gentle, no matter how I am treated in return, I don't have to go back and say I'm sorry for an action that I should not display.
I try to be set apart from others. I don't try to follow the crowd. For me to be like Christ, to follow Our Lord, I have to study the Scriptures and become knowledgeable about Him and His ways. I have to take what I learn each day and make it a part of my life. I have to live the Scriptures. I am not perfect, but I try to do what is in the bible from beginning to end.
P4 is such a help to me! I study daily, but this is another way for me to get into the word. Thank you, Tami!
Tami, this is a good question and sometimes I think to myself, "am I really portraying a godly person to others watching me?" I do hope so. I try to live by the Word because it can be difficult sometimes, friends complain to me about others and I try not to be drawn in as there are always "three sides to a story". So I find that in these cases I tell others that if they do have a grouse with someone to discuss it with the person but do not keep it up in their heart because this will just fester and get worse. Pray about it and forgive. If Jesus can forgive us, who are we not to forgive!
Because I read God's Word daily I find that when people harm me I do not take it on. I truly do not hold it against them. I forgive them and pray for that person. I have really come a long way. I pray for everybody not only family and friends and ask for God's guidance and I find it seems, that when people I know see me they show a genuine happiness to see me and I know it is not my doing but God's, because He blesses us and when we trust Him and ask Him for His mercy and His love He gives it freely. So we cannot go wrong when we read His Word and pray without ceasing. He does NOT sleep. He watches over us. He is watching over Powered by 4 and all the good things BTTB are doing.
Mary you said it perfectly and Amen.
