Romans 8:28-39
This is such a great passage today. So I'm going to keep it short and sweet. Here goes. What does--Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (See Romans 8: 35-39)--mean to you? How do we make the most of it? Tami W.

There is Nothing more powerful than the love, strength, and faith of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
my son just had a baby, an awesome gift from God after several days in icu she came home just in time to see her father who leaves for Afganistan today ( U S Navy SeaBees) praise the Lord he was home for birth. But I pray that he understand this holp passage. All Things.
This is everyting for us!! This is what gives us hope and everlasting joy of being joined with our Creator God. Without Jesus Christ interceding for us it would be impossible for us to reside in heaven. God so loved the world he gave his only son. The perfect sacrifice, a man without sin, God incarnate. As sinfull as we are we can be made clean by allowing Jesus to intercede for us, all we have to do is ask and acept Jesus as a Savior. Without this abiding love our lives would be worthless, we would only have the here and now and nothing to look forward to. We would be much more selfish and self centered society. we wouldnt be charitabel, our values would be all screwed up. Without the perfect example of God love and Jesus Exampeland sacrifice we would not have a reason to be kind to one another. Their would be no relationship with God.
For me this passage serves as a reminder that nothing I do will separate me from God. Most often it is my own mistakes that try to come in the way of my relationship with Him. More so even than outside forces; I do that well enough on my own!! I know that despite whatever I may do, He is always looking out for my best interest and can overcome whatever obstacles are in my way.
God has a sense of humor! I was just reading this passage yesterday in preparation for teaching Sunday School this week!
For me it means that we are always given a choice as to how we choose to react to any situation. It doesn't matter what it is. We can choose to run to God or away from Him. The thing is, God still loves us and always will. That is why He sent a part of Himself, Jesus, to live like us, experience what we experience, and to show His love for us, and to break the ultimate blockage to our having free access to God by dying for us and rising in victory. The Creator became like the created out of love! No one else has that kind of love to give - not even parents to their children. God is love, God shows love, and God protects His loved ones. Nothing can come between us and God's love for us. God is in control of His love for us, and He won't let anything get in the way of that love.
This bible verse makes me happy and it reinforces my decision to serve God. It says to me that there is nothing that anyone can say or do to make me believe that I am not a child of God and encourages me to continue serving him.
To me it means that no matter what, God has a love for me that is everlasting. It hurts Him when I do things that are against His principles.
To make the most of that verse, when I am faced with opposition, negativity and trials, I remember that in times when feel that I am not cared for by people that I have dealings with. . . . No matter what, My God, Our Lord and Savior will always love me and truly nothing else matters!
We go through many trials in our life & sometimes we feel like god isn't with. However, the truth of the matter is that god NEVER leaves us. What a blessing to know he is always with us. I love the lord for he first loved me!
