God really brings it on in Hosea 4. He lays out charges against Israel that are heart breaking--no faithfulness, no steadfast love, no knowledge of God in the land. The more I read, the sadder I became. Not just because of Israel, but because what I was reading pretty much describes our world today. So many people have little or no knowledge of God or they've chosen to set aside and forget the law of God. We need God now more than ever.
So here we sit, Christ-followers with knowledge of God and His Word. What should we be doing with this? What action can we take today to make a difference? Tami W.
It's really saddening that our world,upon all the love of GOD still lack knowledge of HIM.Tami,we are not sitting,see what GOD is doing through you people at Back to the Bible and many christian programs, yet the world does not want to know GOD,yet HE continue to blossom is love on ALL.
To make a difference,i think we should take our stand with JESUS and continue to be a showbiz of HIS love to people.
Just like Israel in Hosea our nation is declining spiritually and morally, breaking the laws that God has given us, laws upon which this country was founded. It is as if this country is trying to legislate any public acknowledgment of God. This country is experiencing serious problems that I do not believe can be reversed unless we change our sinful behaviors. We must change our ways and allow God help this country maintain its' greatness lest "wind wraps them in its wings (Hosea 4:19) will result in the distruction of our nation. You are 100% correct, we need God now more than ever.
