Ephesians 6:10-24

Do you think of yourself as being in battle with Satan and his forces? Well, according to Ephesians 6:10-20, as Believers in Christ we are, and we need to be prepared each and every day. We hear the phrase "armor of God" a lot, but how often do we really think about it and consciously "suit up" if you will? I can tell you, I don't do it daily. I get busy, distracted, you name it and it doesn't always happen. (Does this sound familiar?)

Satan doesn't let down so neither should we. How can we work on this together? If you've got a routine that works for you, we want to hear it. Tami W.

The Lord has raised me to do spiritual warfare since I asked Him into my heart at age 9yrs. So many today aren't aware of the battle surrounding us or they don't want to believe it. I have a warfare prayer that I pray aloud, putting satan under my feet as God gets the glory for the authority He gives us. This prayer is a part of Dr. Neil Anderson's book, "The Bondage Breaker". I have used his program of the 7 Steps to Freedom to help other Christians become free from the bondage satan has over them. Our Papa does AMAZING things through this process!!! I'm currently mentoring a young lady in spiritual warfare as the Holy Spirit leads and have been incredibly blessed to be in His service. I pray your ministry will continue to speak truth to hungry hearts and ears.

Starting my day with prayer and a good (Christ-like) attitude is the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to my routine. My day is like a lot of peoples, the alarm goes off and you hit the floor running. I start my day by having breakfast and reading my devotion. I always have my Bible on the kitchen table, that way I never forget to do my reading! This short time devoted to getting to know God is just like calling your bestfriend for advice, and knowing all the answers to your problems are right there in that manual....the Bible.

I love the picture of you having breakfast with God each morning, Jul D. What a beautiful way to start the day. I think I'll have to try putting my Bible on my breakfast table.

Jul,

Just thought I'd let you know that I'm one of those "Bible on the kitchen table" people too. I always have one and sometimes two Bibles there so that I can pick it up first thing while I'm finishing my breakfast. I've found that if it gets moved, I'm tempted to tell myself I'll do it later which doesn't always happen. So, for me, it's "Bible for breakfast!" Tami W.

I just learned of poweredby4 yesterday. I have been looking for some guidance in reading and studying His word on a daily basis. Before I was all over, chosing a book from the Bible to read at random one at a time. I like the interaction with others. I too will leave my Bible on the table to begin each day with God and His word. I have noticed I am more Christ like when I'm in the Word than when I am not. God Bless you all! I am so excited!!!

Also getting on a One Year Bible reading plan will get you into a habit you might not ever be able to break. You will literally be addicted to the Word and with the Word in you, the enemy has less of a chance to win or basically, none at all.

Hi Sheri! Welcome to Powered by 4. We're so glad to have you reading along with us. Hope you enjoy all the great discussion. Tami W.
