Are you righteous? Eight times in Proverbs 10:19-32 Solomon talks about "the righteous." Now, in this day in age, that word "righteous" isn't necessarily perceived as good, especially outside of Christian circles. But it's a completely good thing here in Proverbs. In fact, we should be striving to attain this quality.

Take a few minutes and look at this passage again. Is there a particular verse about being righteous that motivates you? If there is, what are you going to do with it? Tami W.

P.S. I really like verse 28 "The hope of the righteous brings joy." This lets me know how important it is for me to stay positive, focusing on the hope only my relationship with Christ can provide. When I do that, I will have joy and I can also pass it on to others.

The one that stays out most for me is,vs.19,which talks about when words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise. Which, where I work theres alot of gossips that goes around, that I have to avoid,to the point that it looks like I'm being rude,by not wanting to do the same with my coworkers.I thank God that He tells me in vs. 19 that I am being wise by not doing it.
