God cares about our details. As Jesus hung on the cross, he was bearing the weight of all the sins of humanity. Try as I might, I can't even imagine how difficult and awful that was. Yet right in the middle of saving the world, here come verses 26-27. "When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, 'Woman, behold your son!' Then he said to the disciple, 'Behold, your mother!'" What an amazing example of God's love and compassion. What a picture of His caring heart.

So how did these two verses come across to you? What are your thoughts on God being interested in the details of your life? Tami W.

P.S. If you have any examples, we'd love to hear them.

Well, I personally am very grateful for the details that God takes care of. As a single woman, sometimes I feel like all the bills, etc. rest on my shoulders. Even though I do have wonderful family that would just in if I were seriously ill or seriously injured.
God has always provided work for me. He even takes care of those details.

Well, 2 Timothy 1:7,God has giving us the spirit of power, love, sound mind, the sound mind part is a awesome tool to have. Because, it brings so much of Matthew 24:35, with it,and that is, God word is true and established in heaven. And that He does care about every detail of our lives. I recall many times Him telling me things like, just before my wife would walk through the door ,He would tell me so,than it would happen. Like just yesterday,He told me to check the air pressure in my wife rear tire on her car and yes, it was low.You really learn to hear the voice of the good shepherd.Because, He really cares about all the details of our lives. And! I love Him so mush for that part of himself.

Do you take from vs. 42 that the plan was to move Jesus' body after the Sabbath, that this tomb was temporary just because it was close and the Sabbath was coming?

Little did they know how temporary it would be!

I, too believe that MY FATHER takes care of the details, every little minute, tinsy, weensy, ones.. I am married, but to a non-believer...It is my belief that MY FATHER looks in on my behalf every second because my husband cannot know the things of GOD, and for my spouse to think of the little things...like checking my tire pressure, seeing to the upkeep and maintanence of my car, if there is anything that I could/would possibly need/want...is just not happening...So, every second I breathe and live...I have to depend on MY FATHER GOD to help me so I don't lose sight of my purpose which is to give HIM the GLORY, HONOR, POWER, and PRAISE because HE gave me the RIGHT to do just that!!! Hallelujah!!!

Sometimes it is so easy to look for the earth shattering moments when we witness God at work in our lives. We stand in awe and wonder when miraculous things happen. It is a wonderful experience when we can feel his presence and witness his work when he delivers us in a personal situation. I have to keep reminding myself that I have to look beyond those times and realise that he keeps me and is working and interceding in my daily life every minute of my days. When I look at it that way I am really blown away to think that someone could be so interested in every little thought or action I have. Even our closest loved ones would not be interested in every minute detail of our lives. This is why we all need to have a relationship with or Father. There is not one single human being on this earth capable of handling all the small details or meeting all the needs of another person's life -no matter how much we love them
