John 13:21-38

Have you ever "pulled a Peter"? In one minute, then out the next. Sometimes I'm baffled at how I can be completely on fire for the Lord--telling Him how much I love Him and how I want nothing more than for my whole life to be about Him--and then, before even a day has gone by, I find myself doing or saying something that doesn't line up with my earlier intentions. That's right where Peter found himself, too.

No doubt Jesus delighted in Peter's heart to follow Him and He delights in ours when we do the same. But, Jesus knows our weaknesses and, thankfully, He loves us through it all. So here's the big question: how can we work on less Peter and more Jesus? Tami W.

Well, as the saying goes (welcome to my World.)I'm the same way, I find myself doing or saying, or even thinking things, later on in a Day, that I would not have thought about in the Morning.

I have often ask myself why I'm doing that, but my guess would be because I'm a Sinner. Praise the Lord, that He Loves us still so much, that He was Willing to give His Life for me and You. Thanks God, that He arose again from the Dead, He's alive, He's alive.

For me the only way that I can stay more Jesus is by keeping close to him. By reading his word, studying, praying, worshiping, fellowship with other christians. The moment that I spend a day away from him I can begin to feel the "slip". It's amazing to me how weak we really are without Jesus. We/I need him to be in every thought I have to stay where he wants me. It's hard at times with all of our "flesh" distractions but if we remain constant we will see the reward in heaven.

I had a Peter moment when I saw this in my email. I didn't want to open it but look at how God works...this one was definitely meant for me to read! Praise God that He is always ready and waiting on us to come to HIM!!

This described my day today, I guess we have to train ourselves to live moment by moment or thought by thought. I'm spending more time in the word hoping that is the way to bring about this. If anyone has a more systematic approach please share it.

it is like being on a stone in the water is so easy to loose your
footing. one thing that helps is the verse that reminds us that we are to be constantly in prayer - for me it could on knees, or a brief look up and asking for help
