John 1:28-51

Jesus was a recruiting genius! As we continue reading in John 1, it's kind of amazing how Jesus recruits his first disciples. He didn't have to go out and convince anyone to join him. Jesus was just... well, Jesus...and that was enough. How refreshing.

So how do you think you would have responded? Could you have been one of Jesus' first disciples? Are you one now? Tami W.

If Jesus had come up to me and said he knew me and I hadn't heard of him I might have had to wait. But if I had heard of him and he said this to me I would have gone with him too, at least I hope so. I love how he loves others and I pray I look at others with his love, at least I try.

Hi Tami,
Again I say Rejoice, Good news today about my wife. Dr Said; the Therapy is working and in half the time. (Prayer request April 27th P4 comment page ) Maybe no Surgery after all. Praise God for he is still The God of Heaven and Earth. Sold the house last week that my daughter & family were living in, it only took two months. God is good, still praising Him for all his blessings.
I am not sure if he would have chose me if I had been there back then. But I am glad he chose me 16 years ago. John 15:16 I accepted and want to be a good Disciple for him. Train us Lord to be like you, and may we see your glory revealed every day.

Thank you for allowing me to share my thought.
Jesus already knows where and whom to be his disciple.I guess the disciples were lowly man with a humble spirit and a good heart. So he was at the right places and the right time.If I were at that time of Jesus,No doubt I would gladly and willingly follow Christ.
