Micah 7:8-20

Micah saved the best for last. We're finally at the end of Micah, and what a way to end. Verse 18 was a breath of fresh air as I was reminded that God delights in showing us unfailing love and compassion. But then verse 19 was even better with its incredible promise that God will trample our sins under His feet and throw them into the depths of the ocean. Thank you, Lord!!!

So overall, what did you think of Micah? Did you enjoy it? Any particular takeaways or "aha" moments? Tami W.

As Dr. Kroll has repeated over and over, the path from judgment to joy always run through repentance. The day of judgment will come for all of us, and as Christians, we actually should not fear that day because it will be the beginning of eternal life with our Lord.

And what really amazes me was his prophecy of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. With the fulfillment of this prophecy, we are assured that the yet unfulfilled prophecies will definitely come to pass.

I will say I enjoyed Micah thoroughly. It left me speechless the first couple days (and many others, apparently!) But the more I come to confess and repent, the more I see the Source of my true hope shine through in the midst of it all: Jesus! Just as He is and will be in our lives every day. I enjoy reading prophecy when someone can interpret and explain just what it is I am reading (actually, that becomes a blessing for me when reading any part of the Bible)... you and the Holy Spirit have enriched it so much more for me now than ever before. Thank you so much for the challenge! God bless!
