Micah 3:9-12
They're still in the dog house. Well Micah is really calling out the leaders, rulers and prophets in Micah 3:9-12. It's a continuation of the first part of the chapter only it's more big picture in these verses. So my inquiring mind wants to know, what were your thoughts as you read Micah 3? For me, I couldn't help but make some comparisons to things I see happening in our country today on a lot of levels. Money is king, and we don't have to look very far to find greed and corruption.
So how about praying for our government and its leaders today? And, then, how about saying a prayer for our church leaders too? They need it and we are called to pray for them. Then remember, tell you thoughts on Micah 3. Tami W.

yes we need to pray for our government. for the longest, America has been blessed but tomorrow is notpromised. no matter who became president, the problems were there. how much is too much money? how many cars does one person need, especially when there are so many walking. americans feel no one can harm us becuase God is on our side, but micah is giving us a warning.
My first instinct is to say, "Get 'em, Micah!" But the quick realization is that I am often just as corrupt in my own way. It's important to realize the difference between the message of a true prophet and my own critical commentary. The vitriolic tone of many of us toward the rulers we oppose does no credit to the cause of Christ. Ouch.
As you suggested Tami, Prayers are being lifted up to the lord for our government and church leaders. It was a pleasure meeting you and Woodrow during the recent recording sessions (5/21) at Back to the Bible. Your ministry have inspired me in how we will record our future video and audio files etc... May the Lord continue to keep B2B actively directing the world back to the bible. In the long run many leaders will rise up through the solid biblical teaching your ministry provides. Your team provides solid biblical information with excellence! May God bless Back To The Bible in all of its efforts.
