I'm a upbeat kind of gal :-) so I absolutely loved this reading (Psalm 119:161-176). It is so praise focused. I couldn't keep from smiling when I read "seven times a day I praise you" (verse 164), and then "my lips will pour forth praise" (verse 171) and my favorite, since I'm a singer, "my tongue will sing of your word" (verse 172).
Have you praised the Lord yet today? How so? I'm shooting for that seven times. Wanna join me? Tami W.
P.S. Now that we've finished Psalm 119, take a few minutes and read it through from beginning to end just to get the full impact. It's pretty amazing.
I hear ya Tami. I think praising God is one of the most important things we could/should do everyday. Praise releases God's power in our life, and it keeps us focused on Him.

Thank you for the encouragement to read through all of Psalm 119 - beautiful and powerful words of encouagement from "God's love letter to mankind" as I have heard the bible referred to. Thank you for the daily encouagement of "Powered by 4".
My mother is doing much better also - much more alert and energetic in comparison to prior to getting proper nutrition. She is hopful that she will be able to consume food in addition to or instead of the feeding tube. I pray that God will grant her wish but even so it is refreshing go see her unselfish spirit increasingly reflecting the Lord's grace.
I also pray for God to continue to provide guidance, blessing and support for you and your family as well as Dr. Kroll and the rest of the community. In Jesus' holy name. Amen

i consider my self a crazy praiser,in my smile ,my dance ,my eating, my study ,my think and i know that although these activety set up 60% of my life; i find that there is still 40% more of my time to give.my prayer is; as the psalmist state 'i will pray the Lord at ALL TIME and for me, his praise MUST be Continually in my mouth'.It great to praise him for what you see ,but magnificant to praise him for what you have'nt see.
