Today is another dose of wisdom from Proverbs 3:12-35.

One thing's for sure--Solomon had wisdom. So when he talks about it, we should take note. Proverbs 3:13-23 really lays out the value of wisdom and how having it is a benefit and advantage. You can't really read these verses and not think wow, I need to have that. I need to be a wise person. So how do we accomplish that? Tami W.

Good Evening Tami,
I remember during my first year of reading the Bible in 1992. There would be days when I would read Proverbs from beginning to end then from end to beginning, and sometimes back again.
Gods wisdom is more valuable that silver or gold. This was ingrained into me. James 1:5-7
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.6 But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does
The word of the Lord is more powerful than anything. We need to totally trust it. And as you said yesterday, do not trust in our own understanding.
Well’ Tomorrow we Celebrate Easter ( The Resurrection of Jesus ) There is nothing more important that he did for each of us.
Last night we went church with our Son (who was in town for four day from the DC Area) and his small children along with our Daughters children and our son. My Sister and my Mom with a niece and nephew came as well. Our church is running a illustrated sermon Called “He’s Alive” for Six services, the first one was Friday Evening, then two on Sat, followed by three on Sunday. Never the less it’s a busy time at our church. We Prayed for Our Pastors voice not to give out on Thursday night. There will be lots of people make a decision to follow Christ over this weekend. They will need places to for support and ways to learn more about the word of God. The different venues offered by Back to the Bible are great sources. Woodrow Crow is an excellent teacher. Tami what you do is a wonderful thing.
This is a great day in the Lord, But I am praying for my wife today (she has a very sore throat in bed with a fever today) hoping for her to feel good tomorrow. She was planning on doing a lot of cooking for My mom tomorrow. Mom is almost 86 and had open heart surgery in Dec. in which they replaced a valve, and She has been recovering very well. I give praise to our Lord.
Psalm 103
1Praise the LORD, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's
