What's your attitude toward people that don't yet know Christ? I ask this because of the account of Zacchaeus in Luke 19. We see that Zacchaeus wanted to see Jesus and he even went to a lot of effort to make sure he did. Yet, Zacchaeus wasn't a believer. This got me to thinking about my approach to telling others about Jesus. A lot of times I assume that people aren't going to want to hear about Jesus. When I let myself think that way, I can easily fall into the trap Satan loves to put before me--letting myself off the hook and not sharing because, after all, I might irritate or offend someone.
So what do you think Zacchaeus would have to say to me and anyone else with this mindset? I can only speculate but how about, "what are you thinking??? Everyone needs to hear about Jesus. Look at me and how my life changed forever because of one encounter with Him. This is important so get up and out there and tell someone about Jesus today!"
Do you know someone that maybe you've assumed wouldn't want to hear about Jesus? Or is there someone you haven't shared your faith with because you didn't want to be offensive? Ask God to help you, to give you the courage to talk with them. Maybe they're just like Zacchaeus--wanting and ready to see Jesus, but just haven't had the opportunity. Wouldn't that be awesome? And,even if they don't think they want to hear about Jesus, they still need to and we're called to tell them. I know, sometimes it's tough and even a little scary. But God will help us through it. I promise. And if you have an experience about sharing your faith, tell us about it. Let it be an encouragement to all of us to just do it. Tami W.

I really like interacting with people. Everyone whois alive is potentially going to enter the the kingdom because they can still come to saving grace. I'm excited about that, my few and friendly words may make a difference. Life is short, we have today, why not do something great by being a good listener,by useing a few good words, tell your story, tell His story. It's really fun for me!
Seems odd that Jesus could just get on a colt that had NEVER been ridden before and ride it! Then again, He told the pharisees that if His disciples couldn't worship Him, the rocks would shout out. Must have been quite the day!
I've shared my faith on many occasions...been ridiculed and shied away from too, even though I'm not the "in-your-face" kind of witness. But I've never experienced what I imagine would be the most supreme joy one could imagine because they've just personally led someone to Jesus. People that I've prayed for/witnessed to have given their lives to Him at a later time and there is great comfort and awe seeing how God worked in that. And I know that it is the Holy Spirit who does the drawing, but He knows how I so want to have this experience...like little Samuel, my heart cries, "Here am I, Lord." Please use me. I can't wait!
I've heard and probably even said myself, that it's your witness that counts, not what you say, but I beg to differ now. We must proclaim Him. There is a lost world out there and when we consider eternity without God, how can our hearts not grieve for them all?
