Well it's finally here--Christmas day--and I just want to say "Merry Christmas" and let you know how much I appreciate you being part of Powered by 4. What started out small almost a year ago January has grown and is near and dear to my heart. I love talking with you throughout each week and I especially love hearing from you! You are such an encouragement to me.

So keep reading over the long holiday weekend (and, yes, I know it can be tough when you're not in your normal routine). You'll be glad you did. And if you haven't watched it already, take a look at my video blog. It's a special singing Christmas blog just for you!!! Talk with you again on Monday. Tami W.

Hi Tami,

The last time I posted in your blog I was headed to the emergency room, and I asked everyone to pray for me and my family.

Today I wanted to let everyone know that I was able to spend a joyous Christmas at home with my family. Possibly the greatest Christmas gift I've ever received.
One prayer has been answered.

Now if I can just get enough food down to keep me alive until December 30, the doctors are going to run some more tests to see if they can figure out what's causing the problem. Please continue to pray for us, and include my mother, wife, and daughter.

May the Lord bless and keep you all.

That was great :) I wish you a Merry Christmas too and look forward to walking with you through 2009.

Nobody has commented on your singing. My, you have a wonderful voice. Merry Christmas to you too and yes, I have kept up with the readings. Thank you so much.

Wow! Was that Tami that hit that very high note at the end? Very impressive!

I think that we (Powered by 4 team) should make a New Year's Resolution to tell more friends about the P4 site. I would really like to see the "sign-ups" total more than 9,000. Think about it, if we are still 4700 strong and we each got ONE more person to sign up - that's 9,400. Think what we could do as a team of 9,400!! That may be more than Tami can handle, but as a TEAM - we could do it. I hope everyone had a great CHRISTmas and may we all have a Happy New Year.

Good morning Tami.
Thanks a lot for that special Singing, Merry Christmas to you too.
Talk to you soon.
Take care.

Tami, thank you for the blog and thank you and Pastor Kroll for all that you do. Unfortunately, I have been thinking about our situation in this country and have become somewhat depressed. This country was founded by Christians and was made as a part of Christian worship. All formal occasions, including government meetings, had prayer to start. The children went to school in churches. Most children learned to read from the Bible. Then Thomas Jefferson wrote a letter to a group of Baptist churches, assuring them that they were protected from State Government and his words were twisted by an atheist supreme court justice and used against the American people. Now we have a country, where 80% of the people claim to be Christian, yet no one speaks out against the corruption, the changes in our culture, the onset of Homosexuality, the crime, the unwed lifestyle, the killing of unborn children. How are we to go on when we have lost our voice?

Randy, what a great comment to ponder off your heart, however as we learn from each another in Christ Philippians 2 or Ephesians 4; we at p4 blog will be lifting each other up in prayer. A couple other scriptures that are great to focus on are; 2 Chronicles 7:14, Galatians 6:9, or Romans 8:28. All we can do is pray for the situations or just put Jesus in our mind during the worldly trial; then all of us will joyfully smile about episodes we can not take control; Galatian 5:22. Your encourager in the Lord Chris.

Chris, thank you for patiently pointing out what we are all about. I do put these problems in Our Lords hands, but I just needed to vent. I apologize for being over the top. Thank you again.
