Hey everyone! In our reading for today (Thursday) the scripture passage tells us to "abide in him" (Christ). I talk about that in my video blog (please check it out if you haven't watched it already). So I'm going to keep the blog short and sweet today :) and simply ask you a couple of questions. Here goes. How do you abide in Christ? What does that look like in your life? And if you need to make some adjustments, what are they? Think about it. Then go for it and send me a blog. I'd love to hear from you. Tami W.
P.S. When you watch my video blog today you might be wondering why I sound a little funny--you guessed it--I'm sick. I haven't had much of a voice for quite a few days. So I'd sure appreciate it if you'd pray for my voice and that I'd get well. Thanks!

How do (I) abide in Christ? Hmm, that is a tough question, but that is Ok, We need to ask us questions, are they tough or are they sweet. You know, I try to abide in Him everyday, first thing in the morning I will seek Him, by Prayer and in His Word. And I also try to talk about Him to others. I can almost say, that I'm walking in Prayer all Day, but that's not quit all day, that I Pray. I wish it was so. But I do walk a lot in Prayer.
And the other thing I would thing of would be, that I Love music, I go to different Churches and bring them my music, with the Lord's help only. And I go to Old Folks Home, called (Bethesda Place). I also made a new CD in Oct. and I do give them away for free, because I feel like that there are so many poor People, they cant afford to buy one, and I want them to be able to listen to those too.
I think that they deserve to hear the music just as much as everybody else. And first of all I do it for the Lord. And He will take care of all our needs. Praise the Lord.
Tami, I will Pray for you that you can get well again. I know just how you must feel, I had very strong cough just about 2 weeks ago, and it seemed to not go away, but I'm fine now, Thanks God. May God Bless you and make you well again.
Take care
Greetings Tami
I love this Bible Study-thank you so much.
In regard to my question about loving the world; today's Bible in a minute answered my question.
In Him-
Hi Tami:
Abiding in Him is something I want to do more often these days. I have been a Christian for 20 yrs and during that time my relationship has had its peaks and valleys. I love Jesus with all my heart and I believe this is what has kept me through all this time. My heart's desire is to live for Him. I don't feel like I have been good example these past few years (maybe I've been in a valley?). I am growing right now in Him and am wanting more of Him so I believe I am getting ready to climb to a peak high in my relationship.
Please pray for me as I am currently unemployed and scared. I have faith that God will see me through this time. The unknown is always difficult but I am putting my trust in Him.
I pray for you as well. Hope you get to feeling better. I have been fighting a cough and cold as well.
God Bless,
Tonya
When I think of ways I abide in Him, I think of all the ways I FAIL to abide in Him. But in ways I do abide in Him, is to acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior. Pray for others, and pray for the peace of Israel. Praying in general for others. Intercessing. I have a child with Autism, and it's a challange on us all, and if there is anyone would would help us in praying and intercessing please do. Her name is Nicolle. God bless you all.
God bless,
Carl
Tami;
Great question which caused me to really think and or reflect on my relationship with the Lord. To abide in Christ is to live as He did and does. To love all people as He does. To seek Him daily in every moment. To know and live His Word. I am far from perfect in doing any of this; however, it is my hearts desire to live for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore, I must daily take account of all that I do.
Walking with the Lord is the best thing that has ever happened to me and the greatest challenge. I am thankful for His Holy Spirit, who helps to continue.
I am also thankful for P4 which is helping me to stay in His word, along with Christian radio stations. He most certainly has not forsaken nor forgotten His children.
All praise, honor and glory to our Lord!!!
Hi Tami
To abide in christ I think is to try and live the life that please God. Faith without deeds is dead. The way we live our lives here on earth must glorify him. Even if we are facing challenges in our lives we must rejoice in the lord always. He said in his word that he will never leave u so with prayer and petition with thanksgiving present our request to God, and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your heart and your minds in christ jesus
