Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I asked you in my Monday blog to tell us some things you were thankful for. (BTW, thanks to all of you that have replied so far). I also told you that I would share a few things of my own in this blog. I thought about this a bunch and finally landed on a couple of big things and then a couple of smaller ones. Here goes. First, and most importantly, I am thankful that I have a personal relationship with Christ. I've been a Christian for a lot of years and I don't want to overlook this incredible gift from God. Next, I'm so thankful for my husband, Jeff. He's my best friend and my number one supporter. Also an awesome gift from the Lord. Ok, those were my two big ones and now here are a couple smaller ones. I am thankful that God gave me a singing voice and a love for music. I absolutely love all things music and especially singing. I lead worship at my church and sing whenever the opportunity arises. It is truly a joy for me. Lastly, I am thankful for the last few days at my house. This week I've had the privilege of having my sister and her husband and their two sons at my house for Thanksgiving week. It has been awesome. I rarely get to see any of them because they all live in different states and in my sister's case in a different country (Africa). So this week has been a special and sweet time for all of us.
I leave you with this: God is good all the time. All the time, God is good. That's true you know. So if you haven't thought about God's goodness for a while, now would be a great time. And I'd still like to know what you're thankful for. Send me a blog!

P.S. We're starting Amos today (Thursday) in our readings. If you want a little overview/preview of the book, check out my video blog. Talk with you again on Monday.
